More than just vet care for your cat
It is a well-known fact that our kitties quickly become family members and best friends. Just like the people we hold dear to our hearts, it pains us to see our furry friends hurting. However, unlike humans, we can’t simply ask what ails them. Thankfully, pet owners around Booragoon have a team of veterinarians at Booragoon Vet Clinic who are willing to help.
Congratulations on your new kitten! We can’t wait to meet your fluffy new baby and help you put them on the road to a lifetime of healthy, happy companionship.
Over the first few months of his or her life, we hope your kitten will visit Booragoon Vet Clinic regularly, establishing both a strong foundation for their future health, and a great relationship for you and your kitten with our wonderful, caring team.
A regular annual Preventative Care visit includes a thorough nose to tail examination as detailed below, appropriate vaccinations, parasite control, and nutritional, weight and behavioural counselling. During your visit, your veterinarian will be able to advise you on any preventative care measures you can be taking to help your cat live a long and healthy life. Of course, you can request your choice of veterinarian for your visit.
Increasing concerns about vaccinations have caused people to question whether vaccines are safe for their cat or needed at all. Abundant scientific evidence exists supporting the use of vaccinations in our kitty friends to prevent outbreaks of life threatening disease such as Panleukopaenia and Feline AIDS. We believe wholeheartedly in the safety of vaccination and feel we owe it to our beloved feline companions to protect them from communicable diseases however we can!
